WPS Account Management
For the 2015-2016 school year, the WPS ITS Department is instituting an account management system as well as a password policy for all new and existing accounts. This will include staff and student accounts. All users will be able to change or reset their passwords without using Web Help Desk or calling in to the ITS Department.
Please note the following:
- Passwords can only be changed while you are in-district and on the district network.
- The following rules apply to new passwords:
– minimum password length is 8 characters– password should include both upper & lower cases– password should include numerals– password should not include any part of your full name
REMEMBER
The WPS ITS Department will never send out emails requesting your user credentials or requesting you authenticate your account before it is locked.
If you have mistakenly given out your credentials, please contact the ITS Department at x1114.
